On a whim, Shunda bought a pregnancy test.
Positive.
Thoughts raced through her mind of what her options were. Resolute on her final decision, she would take the abortion pill.
“God gave me this baby, and I’m just going to give it back.”
Yet during conversations with friends, little parts of her heart began to break as she pondered what she was about to do. The lie “You can’t be a mom” whispered in her mind. Shunda wanted to wash this all away, take the abortion pill, and get her life back.
