Ted Cruz Fooled by a Clear Troll Job on Twitter After Hurricane Hilary

Hi, it’s Roland Gutierrez, the Democratic TX State Senator running for U.S. Senate against Ted Cruz.

My opponent had his wits tested this week when he came across a clear troll job from a Barstool bro. He responded to a picture on Twitter that showed a shark on what appeared to be a flooded road.

The tweet joked that the photo was taken in Los Angeles, which was getting slammed by record rainfall this week.
 

“Holy crap,” Ted Cruz posted in reference to the tweet. Cruz was then roasted in the replies for his naiveté.

It’s not surprising that he was easily fooled by the trolling picture. Ted Cruz continues to be an embarrassment to our state. After all, this is the same Ted Cruz who abandoned Texas in the middle of a winter storm and fled to Mexico, leaving 800 people to die.
