Dear Climate Friends:

Good morning! You may have heard of the GTN Xpress pipeline, TC Energy's proposed fracked gas pipeline expansion thru Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.

The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, both Oregon Senators, Governors Inslee and Kotek, and the Attorneys General of Washington, Oregon, and California, and thousands of people across the west all publicly oppose the expansion of the GTN Xpress pipeline. Yet Washington Senators Murray and Cantwell have said nothing.

We think Washington Senators have stayed quiet far too long. FERC could approve the pipeline expansion as soon as Sept. 21st. Washington's Senators need to choose if they stand for climate justice or if they stand for the interests of oil and gas companies.

Can you send a message to Murray and Cantwell?

We need Senators that can say no to a pipeline of fracked gas from a company with a terrible safety record and monstrous history of human rights violations. We are living through a climate emergency, and we are asking our Senators to do the bare minimum.
