Over the last six months we’ve held more than 100 campaign events across the country, met with thousands of voters, and drawn a line in the sand on important policy issues. Now, I just completed my FIRST debate, and we’re continuing to build a SURGE of momentum.   BUT, we still have a lot of ground to cover in order to win the White House and save our country! As we continue to build a winning campaign, I want to remind you why I am running for president and why your support matters.   I’m a proud daughter of legal immigrants, a wife of a combat veteran, and a mother of two. I have watched the American Dream unfold before me. But, with the Democrats in power, our future is slipping.  Right now, we have too many families paying too much for groceries; too many small businesses who can’t afford rent, and too many big businesses getting taxpayer bailouts. We have too much crime on our streets – too many drugs flooding our cities – and too few police and border patrol. And from Joe Biden on down, our leaders put too much trust in big government and too little trust in the American people. They have us spiraling toward socialism, with a new trillion-dollar spending bill every few months, and a national debt over 32 trillion dollars. This is not the America I want to leave to my children!  I am running for president to save our country from the downward spiral of socialism and defeatism. I aim to move America upward toward freedom and strength.  But, I need your help to make it happen. Can I count on you? I can promise you, America is always worth fighting for. As a brown girl, growing up in a black-and-white world, I saw the promise of America unfold before me. As the proud wife of a combat veteran, I saw our people’s deep love of freedom, and determination to defend it. As Governor, I saw our state move beyond hate and violence, and lift everyone in peace. And as Ambassador, I saw that America is still the standard. Our moment is now – and our mission is clear.
