Happy Women’s Equality Day!
Today, we’re celebrating how far American women have come and committing ourselves to fighting for voting rights, gender equity, and reproductive freedom.
It’s critical that we defend voting rights for
everyone, particularly those who have previously been silenced at the ballot box. Women of color were some of the last Americans to gain the right to vote, and our voices are needed now more than ever – at the polls and in Congress.
My team wrote you a message explaining why this is so important to our campaign. If you’re ready to join this fight, please consider rushing a donation before this month’s fundraising deadline:
Thanks,
Kim
Forwarded Message from Team Nguyen:
Tomorrow is Women’s Equality Day, which commemorates the adoption of the Nineteenth Amendment!
In 1920, after decades of organizing, American women began to secure their fundamental right to vote. This was a watershed moment in our shared history – and it opened the door for women like Kim to run, win, and lead!
When Kim is in Congress, she’ll fight to protect the right to vote and defend the rights and freedoms of all women. That means codifying
Roe, protecting access to abortion and contraception, closing the gender pay gap, and addressing the issues that impact women – especially women of color.
Will you make a donation so Kim can win this race and make history as the first Asian-Latina in Congress? With your help, we can beat the GOP and elect a Democratic champion in CA-45!
If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.
Thanks for being a part of our campaign. Let’s get to work!
