There are plenty of real issues where we need our government to take action. Like child care. And housing. And climate change.

But instead of getting to work for the American people, Republican House members have been advancing their out-of-touch agenda. Here are just a few of their recent big ideas:

• Handing more tax breaks to giant corporations -- just weeks after they tried to cut vital programs like Meals on Wheels in the name of "fiscal responsibility."
• Making it illegal to get mifepristone -- a medication used for one of the most common methods of abortion -- in the mail, anywhere in the country.
• Restricting the right to vote nationwide with the harshest anti-voting rights bill in decades.

I've got four words for them: Not on my watch.

I'm pushing back against MAGA Republicans to protect our basic freedoms and put our government on the side of working people, not just the rich and powerful. And I'm running for re-election to stay in the fight. But I can't do it alone.

If it makes sense for you right now, can you split $10 between me and Chuck Schumer to power my re-election campaign, fight back against the GOP's extremist agenda, and make our government work for working people?

Side by side, we can hold the line against GOP extremism.

We'll fight to retake the House from the Republican wrecking-ball crew, protect and expand our Senate majority, and hold onto the White House.

But we won't stop there. We'll keep fighting to push our country forward and deliver the big, bold action that working families need -- from universal child care to affordable housing to building on our progress against the climate crisis.
