Did you see the Democratic debate last week?

The remaining contenders in this race for the Democratic nomination debated right before the Nevada caucus. While there are clearly some strong candidates in this race, and any of them would be far better than Donald Trump, we couldn’t help but notice that there was no mention of national security or foreign policy in the last debate.

Voters in this election have clearly shown they care about health care and the economy. But some of the worst damage Donald Trump has done has been to our national security, our ability to conduct foreign policy with our allies around the world, and our standing as a world leader.

It’s why we worked so hard in 2018 to elect a new generation of leaders who have service and foreign policy experience. And it’s why our mission is to do the same thing in 2020.
