Let’s Win for America Action Chairman Reflects on Premier GOP Presidential Debate
ATLANTA (August 25, 2023) – Let’s Win for America Action Chairman Kelvin King released the following statement regarding Wednesday’s Republican presidential debate:
"The Republican Presidential candidates came ready to brawl, as they should have. It allowed viewers to finally see what they're made of when challenged by their opponents.
I think we're in a time when integrity, character, and morality weigh just as much as our willingness to fight. Each candidate needs to share their vision of what America can be. Essentially, we need a bold leader who steers us away from the failed Biden/Obama policies. I was glad to see that inflation reduction, gender truth, and a strong defense and domestic security were topics of importance to most on stage. At the end of the day, I will get behind whoever has the best plan to tackle these tough issues and preserve the American Dream.
We see that the ‘shiny new thing’ isn't what we need right now. I'm going with proven victories, experience, and someone with a moral compass rooted in Jesus. For me, that narrows it down quite a bit.
Above all, it was refreshing to see the diversity of candidates on stage. Janelle and I started Let’s Win for America Action to spread a winning conservative message to diverse communities. A Republican debate stage full of different perspectives, delivered from people of different backgrounds was an excellent example of real diversity."
