Weekly Newsletter: On August 28, 1963, America witness the culmination of the Civil Rights Movement with the March on Washington and MLK’s “I Have a Dream” speech. Today, No Labels is helping carry on the movements’ fight for a fairer democracy.
Hi Friend,
This week marks the 60th anniversary of a pivotal moment in American history: the 1963 March on Washington for Freedom and Jobs. Six decades later, we’re reminded of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech and the unfinished work to turn those dreams into reality.

To mark that iconic day, No Labels has produced a special new video featuring reflections from No Labels’ co-chairs Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis Jr. and Senator Joe Lieberman, both of whom attended the 1963 march. You’ll hear them discuss why that day was so meaningful to them and how it connects to the challenges America still faces today.

Six decades ago, the March on Washington demonstrated the transformative power of unity and the need for all Americans—regardless of their race or political affiliation—to come together for the common good.
We face the same imperative today amid a worsening climate of partisan hatred.
The March on Washington aimed to realize America's promise of equal opportunities and rights, including the right to vote. No Labels continues the legacy of promoting democracy by working to ensure every American can have their voice heard.
In the years to come after the March on Washington, America and our leaders came together to pass historic bipartisan legislation to protect the civil and voting rights of all Americans.
The challenge before us all is to reclaim that same spirting of bipartisan unity today.
Thank you for being a part of this important mission.

No Labels is making history, and we want you to be part of it! We're working hard to build the launching pad for a potential independent Unity presidential ticket – featuring one Democrat and one Republican – in 2024. Forces within the two major parties have already registered their objections to this project, but they're only displaying a disconnect with how the country feels.
No Labels 101 is an introduction call into everything we are working on and how it all works together.
