The Compliance Officer will manage?new functionality within the Council's Oracle Fusion financial system; specifically managing and reporting of spend under Contract Purchase Agreements (CPAs) to ensure compliance across the Council with Financial Regulations, Contract Procedure Rules, Public Procurement Regulations and Transparency Act 2015. The role?involves creating, amending and ceasing CPAs to enable suppliers to be paid and to link payments with compliant contracts. The post holder?will administer system capabilities such as creating catalogues to enable easier purchasing processes and deliver efficiencies across the organisation.?This is an exciting opportunity for the right?person?to play?a key role in this?project?and to support the implementation?of new?and transformational financial processes across the Council.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:?

  • Good knowledge of e-Procurement and P2P (Procure to Pay) systems and processes
  • Ability to use own initiative; make daily decisions relating to the procurement contracts and other procurement issues and to be able to work to strict timescales
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular ability to use Microsoft Access and Excel to produce reports and evaluate data
  • Ability to compile, produce, summarise and present management/statistical/technical reports?(and other documentation) using analytical skills and ensuring attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both in writing and verbally

Nottingham City Council are looking to appoint Children?s Residential social Care Workers at Crocus Fields short breaks unit for children and young people with disabilities. ?Crocus Fields offers care to young people who have severe learning disabilities and physical disabilities, many of whom are on the autistic spectrum and who may exhibit significant challenges in management of their behaviour.? ? The role requires an ability to:?To?give essential and personal care to?children and young people with autism and learning or physical disabilities.?To establish positive relationships with the young people, assessing needs and risk. Nottingham City Council is seeking to recruit to the position of FM Team Leader to join an existing team within the Cleaning Services Department on a 12 month fixed term contract.? The FM Team Leaders will form the first line of management for approximately 400 frontline cleaning staff across 150 sites in Nottingham.

The role will require flexibility in hours of work and the ability to regularly travel between sites.? Access to company vehicles will be provided and we are committed to supporting colleagues to maintain a healthy work/life balance.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of managing frontline staff and delivering services to clients.? They will have the skills and aptitudes to build strong relationships with clients and be able to identify, understand and deliver against client requirements.

The position will require a high level of technical competence in cleaning services and in financial management.

In addition to meeting the skills and the competency requirements of these roles, we are also looking for individuals who will share our core values of, taking responsibility, continuously striving for better, working as a team, caring for people and being fair.?   • Experience of line management within a customer facing environment
