Back to School spotlight: Dominican University faculty celebrate their first contract
This week the CFT Back to School tour had stops at the Dominican University, Lawndale Elementary School District, the French American International School, Cabrillo College, and Long Beach Community College.
CFT’s officers got to hear first hand from members of the Dominican University Faculty Federation of Teachers, one of CFT’s newest local unions, about their successful journey to organize and win a first contract.
In this new video, the faculty share their excitement and experience and how equity has been a central focus of their campaign.
Next week CFT officers will visit USF part time faculty in San Francisco.
