Congress may be out of session during the month of August, but my work fighting for North Carolina families doesn’t stop.

I’m taking this month away from Congress to connect with voters and make progress on the issues that matter most, like advocating for life-saving gun violence prevention legislation and defending our voting rights.

But we need to be prepared for any challenges that come our way. My campaign’s end-of-month deadline is coming up next week, and it’s our chance to prove to Republicans that North Carolina families are tired of their extremism.
