Schools across the country are welcoming students back to school this week. While this is an exciting time, it also means that we’re already seeing headlines like this:

Back to school means the possibility of school shootings, so schools are turning to clear backpacks, lockdown drills, and more.

This is the reality of the country we’re living in. Our children and teachers can’t go to school without fearing for their lives.

Frankly, we’re fed up. We need to ensure that no one fears for their lives in grocery stores, schools, or movie theaters.

That’s why we’re pushing to elect more gun violence prevention champions than ever before in 2024. We must DEFEAT extreme NRA Republicans who refuse to act.
