The race to defend IL-06 is officially underway, team.

We don’t consider ourselves the dramatic type here at Casten HQ. But this really is the starting gun in our fight to defend this district.

Remember, this is only our first opponent – in the coming months, there’s a chance plenty more science deniers, Big Liars, and Trump admirers will launch campaigns against Sean.

And if our initial response to this opponent is lackluster, it’ll signal weakness to national Republicans who want nothing more than to eliminate an effective Democratic leader like Sean.

So please, we’re imploring this team to flex our grassroots strength, reach our ambitious $12,000 End-of-Month goal for August, and show Sean’s opponent(s) that we won’t go down without a fight.
