NJ Updates: Events, Deadlines, Programs, Guidance, and More
Want to know about current topics in New Jersey today? The State of New Jersey Update features information, news, and resources, as well as guidance for COVID-19 and more. Additional featured news is also available at NJ.gov.
If you received an ANCHOR Property Tax Relief payment earlier this year, watch your mailbox. If your information has not changed since you last filed for ANCHOR, your benefit for the 2020 tax year will automatically be distributed to you by November 1st, 2023.
Anyone who has changed their mailing address, bank account number, or other qualifying information must file an updated application on the ANCHOR website by September 30th, 2023.
New applicants need to file online by December 29th, 2023.

Residents can now text Governor Murphy at (732) 605-5455. The Governor will get back to as many individuals as he can and will send periodic updates. |

New Jerseyans are encouraged to continue taking precautions to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy. Though the federal public health emergency for COVID-19 has ended, COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses are still among us.
COVID-19 vaccines remain free and available to everyone. Find locations offering COVID-19 vaccines and boosters on the COVID-19 Vaccine Finder and Community Calendar. If symptoms appear, get tested for COVID-19. As always, keep children home from school and child care centers if they are feeling unwell.
