It should be noted that law enforcement officials are not prohibited from coordinating in criminal and civil cases, so even if DA Willis’ office worked with the Special Counsel’s office, that would be proper and legal in any case.
So there really is only one reason Jordan would do this, and at the exact moment Trump was being booked in Georgia for the mobster-esque RICO charges he is facing there: Jim Jordan is running interference for Trump and trying to throw a wrench in an official state judicial proceeding.
Jordan’s actions are, at best, something we would expect from lawless politicians in a banana republic; at worst, he is flagrantly violating the law, and committing a serious crime by hindering the duties of an officer of the court.
According to O.C.G.A. § 16-10-24 - Obstruction of an officer of the court: “A person who knowingly and willfully obstructs or hinders any law enforcement officer… in the lawful discharge of his or her official duties shall be guilty…”
The punishment for this crime is a prison term of up to 12 months.
My opponent Jim Jordan must be held accountable. If you want to help me take down Jim Jordan and punish him like the petty gangster he is, I need your help right now—Can you chip in $25 or any other amount right now to this campaign to take down Jim Jordan?
