This is urgent, team. Virginia’s state legislative races are just around the corner – here are three reasons we can’t afford to ignore this election.

1. Republicans only need to flip two state senate seats to take full control of Virginia’s state government. If they succeed, they’ll roll back our progress on issues like voting rights and gun safety and implement their extreme anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ agenda.

2. According to FiveThirtyEight, the races that will determine control of the legislature will be “highly competitive.”

3. Wealthy GOP governor Glenn Youngkin is already investing in competitive districts – and he’s willing to spend to help his party take full control.

Team, if we want to ensure that Democrats have the resources they need to win, we have no time to waste.
