people's lives.

* Emily Benedict is a newly elected member of the Nashville Metro
City Council who is fighting to close private, for-profit prisons
in her state.

* Zulfat Suara is the first Muslim immigrant woman elected to the
Nashville Metro City Council, as a direct result of grassroots
organizing done by Our Revolution activists through the deep
South.

All of these folks are on the frontlines of the political
