Mitch McConnell is blocking a bill that would restore the net neutrality
protections that were gutted by Trump's FCC.

Demand lawmakers pass the Save the Net Act to restore net neutrality.

John,

Last year, the Save the Net Act to restore net neutrality passed in the
House of Representatives. But Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has
made it his mission to block the Act in the Senate. He refuses to allow a
vote on this bill, siding with large telecom companies, like Comcast and
Verizon, instead of with the millions of Black, Brown, and low-income
communities who benefit from net neutrality.

[ [link removed] ]We cannot allow Mitch McConnell and lawmakers to block net neutrality.
Demand lawmakers support a vote to pass the Save the Net Act.

Net neutrality is vital to our struggle for civil rights in the digital
age. It allows for a free and open internet for all people, with internet
speeds that are not impacted by how much someone can pay. Because of this,
we can uplift Black and Brown voices into mainstream media without needing
the approval of gatekeepers. For instance, many Black journalists and
cultural commentators are able to be heard as a result of social media
platforms, blogs, and other platforms they’re able to access without
paying extra fees. Without net neutrality, Black and Brown expression will
be stifled. We cannot let this happen.

[ [link removed] ]Every lawmaker should support net neutrality. Tell the Senate to pass
the Save the Net Act.

For years, Color Of Change members like you have helped fight to ensure
the internet remains free and open. You got the most comprehensive net
neutrality bill signed into law in California, and you helped pass the
Congressional Review Act (CRA) in the Republican-controlled Senate.^1 2
But, we still need lawmakers to vote to pass the Save the Net Act to
ensure the internet remains free and open.
