You?re invited to two open houses in September for the 2024 Update to Snohomish County?s Comprehensive Plan. The open houses will focus on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), which will be published on September 6th, and three potential Future Land Use Maps (FLUMs). The focus of the open houses will be on these documents, but please bring any questions you may have on the 2024 Update.

If you are unable to attend either event in person, recordings of the presentations will be posted to the 2024 Update webpage here [ [link removed] ], and you can learn more about the DEIS and potential FLUMs by reviewing this storymap webpage [ [link removed] ]?(in development). The storymap provides additional information and instructions on how to make comments on the potential FLUMs to help Planning and Development Staff make recommendations and, ultimately, for the County Council to select a preferred alternative.

The hearing date may be extended to October 25 and 26 for additional comments depending on time and volume of comments._"
