Thanks to Governor Murphy’s Fiscal Year 2024 budget, property tax relief is going to get a whole lot easier.

Over 1.3 million New Jerseyans who received ANCHOR property tax benefits last year won’t have to re-file to receive these benefits. They will automatically receive the property tax relief benefit without having to do anything, making this often stressful and confusing process much easier. On top of all this, many seniors will see even more property tax relief than last year.

By automatically distributing these financial benefits, the state is helping give hardworking families a much-needed boost. Governor Murphy is delivering on his promise to make New Jerseyans’ lives easier and more prosperous.
