You did it. Your support helped taxpayers defeat Ottawa’s carbon tax in Alberta’s court of appeal.

The Alberta court of appeal ruled in a 4-1 decision that the federal carbon tax is unconstitutional.

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation was the only non-government intervener fighting Trudeau’s carbon tax in Alberta. We were up against the federal government’s lawyers who are backed by your tax dollars and more than a dozen radical, well-funded, pro-carbon tax organizations. But your support helped us stand up for taxpayers and defeat the special interest groups with deep pockets.

This was a big victory, but we still need your help to fight Trudeau’s carbon tax at the Supreme Court.

There are 21 groups intervening, including radical environmental and union groups who support the Trudeau carbon tax like the David Suzuki Foundation, Environmental Defence, Canadian Labour Congress and National Farmers Union.

We are the only non-government group fighting against Trudeau’s tax.
