John -

I’m Taylor, and I'm a US Senior Organizer with 350.org based in Baltimore,
MD. I’m here to share some exciting news! We recently launched a 350 US
Volunteers and Local Groups Slack community — and as a powerful part of
our movement of ordinary people rising up for bold climate action, [ [link removed] ]we
invite you to join us!

By joining, you’ll have the chance to get connected, stay up to date on
upcoming actions, and get plugged into our work by volunteering from home
on ongoing campaigns like phone banking for a public power campaign in
Maine, mobilizing folks from your area to the March to End Fossil Fuels in
NYC this September, starting or supporting a utilities campaign in your
area, and more.

[ [link removed] ]What do you say,
John? Will you join our 350 US
Volunteers and Local Groups Slack?

Once you’ve joined, make sure to introduce yourself in the #general
channel! Then, we’ll get you added to channels where you can connect with
other volunteers and local group leaders working on similar projects.

If you’re new to Slack, watch this [ [link removed] ]intro video and learn more [ [link removed] ]here.
Basically, Slack is a collection of "channels," which function like group
chats. You can post any questions about how to use and navigate Slack in
the [ [link removed] ]#using-slack channel and an organizer with 350.org will respond.

See you on Slack!
