We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Every time abortion rights are on the ballot, people turn out to protect their rights.

We saw that most recently in Ohio, where voters rejected the GOP’s blatant attempt to make it harder to pass a constitutional amendment to protect abortion rights in the state.

As stated in a recent Axios article, “Virginia's voters will offer a high-profile test of how much Roe v. Wade's demise drives voter sentiment — and if pocketbook issues and concerns about schools and crime have the same reach.”

Virginia is one of the last southern states without an extreme abortion ban, making it a crucial mid-Atlantic haven for thousands of patients currently traveling to the Commonwealth for care, including from neighboring states of Tennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

We have to keep it that way, and this November, with EVERY seat in our state legislature on the ballot, we have the best opportunity in a generation to elect a pro-abortion rights majority.
