In a moment, I'm going to ask you to split a donation between Michigan Victory Fund and Fight Like Hell PAC to support our collective work to keep Michigan’s open Senate seat blue. But first, I want to take a minute to talk about Senator Debbie Stabenow’s service and legacy for our state. 

Senator Stabenow is a champion for Michigan.

As the first woman elected to represent Michigan in the U.S. Senate, she's been leading the fight for working families, the auto industry, and farmers 

She continues to stand up for workers’ rights and expand paths to good-paying jobs in the trades. She’s brought manufacturing and supply chains home to Michigan, and she works across the aisle as Chair of the Senate Agriculture Committee to deliver bipartisan farm bills.

Not only that — but she is a fierce protector of our Great Lakes. Sen. Stabenow fought for decades to modernize the Soo Locks and continues to tackle toxic contaminants in drinking water. She’s also a leader in expanding access to affordable health care and ensuring parity for mental health services.

Most of all, she is an incredible friend. Debbie is one-of-a-kind. 

Just like many others, I was surprised when she announced earlier this year that she was not running for re-election — but so incredibly proud of her legacy of delivering results for our state.

But friend, an open Senate seat in Michigan is a rare opportunity. And with Sen. Stabenow’s retirement, MAGA extremists will surely be doing everything they can to win this swing seat and control of the Senate.

If we want to protect the progress we’ve made, build on her legacy, and continue working together to make a difference for Michiganders in every community, then we need to come together and fight like hell to keep Michigan blue. 

As we gear up for 2024, Sen. Stabenow and I are teaming up to make sure we've got strong support all across Michigan. We're working hard to build a grassroots network that's tough enough to protect this seat and come out on top, but we can't do it without your help. Your support is a game-changer for us in this mission.
