For years, the corporate media has pushed the same narrative that America can't possibly afford things like universal health care or the Green New Deal. But whenever Republicans want to go to war or slash taxes for corporations or the 1%, all those questions about "how are you going to pay for it" somehow disappear.
It's not hard to figure out why: the CEOs and corporate bosses who run these corporate media outlets are the exact people benefitting from all those fat tax breaks.
