Monument Hill State Historic Site
Join Kreische Brewery & Monument Hill State Historic Sites in La Grange as they honor the soldiers entombed on Monument Hill on Saturday, September 16. The memorial ceremony will include guest speakers, a wreath-laying, and a gun salute. After the ceremony, staff and volunteers welcome visitors to explore the grounds of Kreische Brewery.
Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site
Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site in West Columbia is hosting its annual Hogg-toberfest on Saturday, October 7. This family-friendly event is a celebration that kicks off fall for the entire community. There will be activities and games, a biergarten, live entertainment, local vendors, and history for all guests.
