I first called on Attorney General William Barr to resign last May when it became clear that he had lied to Congress about the findings of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report. Since then, his behavior has only gotten worse.

His decision to reduce the sentencing recommendation for Roger Stone shows that there is one set of rules for the President and his cronies and another for the rest of us. This is not how the justice system is supposed to work.

It seems clear that the President wants to continue retaliating against those who testified against him in the impeachment inquiry. First, it was Lieutenant Colonel Vindman. Then, Ambassador Gordon Sondland.

The job of the Attorney General of the United States is to uphold the law. William Barr should probably remind himself of that - and if he can't do the job without breaking the law himself, he should resign.
