FIRST, Governor Greg Abbott championed and called for expanding school choice

THEN, the state House presented a watered-down version of the bill due to a
few school choice opponents. And Governor Abbot threatened to veto it.


NOW, Governor Abbott has said he will call a special session to ensure they do
right by Texas families and pass meaningful school choice expansion.
