EAST GREENBUSH, NY— Today, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik released the following statement:

“Joe Biden continues to illegally weaponize the government against President Trump, his top political opponent for the White House. Poll after poll shows Donald Trump trouncing his Republican challengers by over 40 points and is beating Joe Biden in swing states. President Trump is being arrested for rightfully challenging the results of the election, something he had the legal authority to do. The stenographers in the mainstream media refuse to report that Democrats objected to presidential election results in 2001, 2005, and 2016 - every Republican President in this century. House Republicans will investigate the corrupt collusion of Jack Smith and Fani Willis, something Fani Willis was asked about and refused to deny. The only way to save our Republic is for Republicans to rally behind President Trump’s campaign to defeat these bogus charges and win back the White House in 2024.”
