John,
Five pro-life activists, Lauren Handy, Will Goodman, John Hinshaw, Heather Idoni, and Herb Geraghty, are currently on trial in Washington, D.C.
Their crime? Trying to save babies from abortion at the hands of late-term abortionist Cesare Santangelo.
The five defendants are charged with a felony count of conspiracy against civil rights as well as violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Each faces 11 years in prison total (10 years for conspiracy and one year for FACE Act violations).
Lauren Handy was first inspired to take action to expose Santangelo after she saw one of Live Action’s undercover investigative videos in which Santangelo admits he would leave a baby to die if it survived his abortion attempt.
On top of the fact that this trial is already criminalizing the wrong people, Judge Kollar-Kotelly has disallowed showing the Live Action video that inspired this activism, calling the video “propaganda.”
Through her pro-life work investigating Santangelo, just last year Lauren discovered the bodies of 115 abortion victims outside of the abortionist’s facility. Five victims appeared to be full-term, and an activation campaign called Justice For the Five was launched in their honor.
Yet as Lauren and her fellow activists potentially face prison time, Santangelo still profits from killing late-term babies.
These pro-lifers courageously stood against the violence of abortion and suspected infanticide.
They saw injustice happening in our nation's capital and now they stand trial for acting as heroes to defend our most vulnerable. They bravely stood between the abortionist and the child on the front lines to protect innocent lives.
Santangelo should be prosecuted for his crimes against humanity, not the pro-lifers doing what the D.C. police and government officials fail to do.
Join us in spreading this video. Expose Santangelo for his crimes. Demand justice.
Join us also in praying for these brave activists who may have to unjustly sacrifice over a decade of their lives - all because they tried to save others.

John, if you'd like to write a note of encouragement to these five activists, feel free to do so in a reply to this email. My team will compile all the messages and ensure the activists receive them.
