One year after the Supreme Court cruelly overturned Roe v. Wade, abortion is now banned or tightly restricted in 21 states.

But now, pro-choice voters are turning out in droves to support ballot measures that protect reproductive rights and block abortion bans in their states:

  • Voters in Kansas, Kentucky and Montana defeated anti-abortion bans;
  • Voters in California, Vermont and Michigan enshrined abortion rights in their state constitutions;
  • And voters in Ohio just blocked a measure that would make passing a constitutional amendment to protect abortion access more difficult! Now, they have the chance to enshrine abortion rights in their constitution this fall.

So now, we need to urge candidates – at local, statewide, and national levels – to champion abortion rights and expand our reproductive freedoms!
