Last night, eight Republican presidential candidates squared off at the first GOP debate of the presidential primary.

Today, we debrief.

The heated debate focused on various issues; but after two hours of debate, there was not a single mention of what they plan to do about social media’s impact on children’s mental health.

Before the debate, several candidates expressed concern about the power of big tech companies, such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter. However, when it came to the actual debate stage, the candidates did not call out the social media and technology companies that are harming our kids. Instead, they let these companies off the hook.

We need our elected officials to have clear policy proposals to rein in Big Tech and its corrosive influence.

If they won’t, we will! You can help us by:

  • Emailing your Senators to ask them to pass the Kids Online Safety Act
  • Calling your Senators to ask where they stand on KOSA
  • Donating to build our movement.

We need you in our corner to hold social media and technology companies accountable and take back the internet!

Thank you,
