They also find that following the announcement of the vaccine mandate,
non-Hispanic Black employees, those employed in states with mandates for
state long-term care employees (among other groups), had significantly
higher odds of vaccination.
Ultimately, 56.2 percent of those employees who were unvaccinated before
the mandate announcement subsequently were vaccinated, while 20.9
percent were terminated due to noncompliance with the mandate.
