Last night’s GOP primary debate should serve as a warning to all Americans.
If people thought that the threat of Trump is fading because he’s now facing four separate indictments for his criminal behavior, last night’s debate proved that his policies and extremism will live on in any of the candidates seeking the GOP presidential nomination.
From abortion rights, climate change, voting rights, censorship in our schools and libraries, national security, immigration, and more, each candidate that stood on the stage painted a grim future for our nation as they seek to further the extreme and unpopular agenda the Republican Party has been pushing for years.
Even as Trump’s popularity and lead in the GOP primary remains strong, we must remain vigilant in fighting to prevent ANY of the potential Republican candidates from winning the White House. Failure to do so will result in the continued erosion and wholesale elimination of our most fundamental rights and freedoms and we cannot afford to become complacent now.
