Asian Americans Advancing Justice – AAJC is proud to co-chair the 60th Anniversary of the March on Washington on Saturday, August 26, 2023.
Between Noon-1pm our President and Executive Director will join the National Action Network and fellow civil and human rights organizations on stage to speak about this momentous event.
Come join us for this important moment in history! We welcome more people to walk with our staff members and the contingent of individuals representing several Asian American organizations. Fill out this form to let us know you are coming.
The program begins at 8 a.m. ET at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. followed by the march from 1-3 p.m. ET.
Celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of the first March on Washington, we join the march this year to show that we will continue the fight for justice. This march is not a commemoration, but rather a continuation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s message and Dream.
Can’t join us in person? Several media outlets will live stream and broadcast throughout and during different times during the event. Check your local networks and C-SPAN.
Please follow or join in the conversation on social media by using the hashtag, #MOW60, on your social media posts.
