When Bernie Sanders was elected to Congress in 1990, he was a political oddball. A self-proclaimed Socialist, who loves dictator Fidel Castro, honeymooned in communist Moscow, and refused to join the Democratic Party because it was too conservative.

Ha! Now he’s poised to be the Democratic nominee for President of the Greatest Nation in the World and that didn’t happen because Bernie changed – that happened because the Democratic Party changed – into Socialists.
