Budgets are a reflection of values. We were disturbed by what we found when we dug into the budget that President Trump's administration put out earlier this month.

The new budget proposes massive cuts to many vital programs that help the people of Virginia’s 7th and people across the country.

Here’s a few key examples:

• Health Care - Trump’s budget would strip about $1 trillion from health care programs that protect the most vulnerable.
• Environment - the new budget would eliminate 50 programs from the Environmental Protection Agency and impose deep cuts to environmental research and development
• Education - The administration’s budget will eliminate the public service loan forgiveness program and slash other subsidies that help students cope with student loans.

These cuts are a demonstration of the Trump Administration’s priorities.

Abigail’s priorities are our priorities: investing in the education of children across the country, strengthening our nation's infrastructure, protecting vital programs such as Social Security and Medicare, and much more.
