"Arizona Supreme Court will decide whether 159-year-old near-total abortion ban should be state law "
— 12News, August 23, 2023
The appeal was brought by Scottsdale-based Alliance Defending Freedom. The self-described Christian law firm argues that Arizona's near-total ban on abortion, dating to territorial days in 1864, should be enforced as law.
PITCH IN TO PROTECT ABORTION IN ARIZONA [[link removed]]
Team —
The right to bodily autonomy is once again under attack. Our state’s Supreme Court has agreed to review a lower court’s decision that threatens abortion providers in all 15 counties.
Without electing leaders for reproductive freedom like Governor Hobbs and AG Mayes last year, Arizonans would still be subject to the wishes of a loud minority. The vast majority of Arizonans agree — health care decisions should remain between a patient and their provider, NOT our judges and politicians.
Pitch in right now to help us protect abortion across Arizona, folks.
