We get it. There’s a lot going on. That’s why we wanted to highlight some of the most important work we’ve been doing over the last few months:

• Water & Wildlife Watch: The Colorado River isn’t just beautiful – it’s vital. So, we’ve introduced two bills to both protect our water from excessive salt and save endangered fish in the Upper Colorado and San Juan River. 🐟💧


• Helping Small Businesses: Two bills we’re super excited about - the Supporting Community Lenders Act and the Native American Entrepreneurial and Opportunity Act - have passed out of the Small Business Committee (a big first hurdle before they become law!). These bills are game-changers. They help community banks, increase access to capital for entrepreneurs, and boost Native American small businesses. 💼


• Colorado's Cannabis “Greenprint”: Since 2012, Colorado has been a trailblazer with weed, paving the way for small businesses and remedying the racial injustices caused by marijuana criminalization. We’ve introduced the PREPARE Act to take Colorado’s success and aim for nationwide legalization. This bill establishes a transparent process to prepare for the legalization of marijuana at the national level — one that mirrors Colorado’s framework. 🌿
