Did you know municipal elections typically see less than half the participation of presidential elections? Voter turnout was just 33.6% in 2019 compared to 79.7% in 2020.

Our local governments administer essential services like: 

• Water and waste management

• Making critical decisions about schools, libraries, parks, public safety, and zoning
• Managing budgets and local taxes 

Simply put, municipal governance impacts our daily lives more than any other level of government.
