John,
I had to
get this message out after watching last night's Republican
presidential debate.
While the
Forward Party isn't running a presidential
candidate in '24, we
recognize the dire need to fight to preserve our democracy. That need
was on full display last night.
Don’t be fooled. Trumpism won the
debate. It was evident and it
became even more clear when most of the participants raised their
hands to say they’d support the former president even if convicted.
The only two who did not were Asa Hutchinson and Chris Christie. None
of the eight hopefuls emerged as a credible threat to Trump, who
remains the frontrunner without even being on the same
stage.
The rule of law and our
Constitution are on the line. We are in a troubling place as far as our democracy is
concerned.
I hope you will make
a small contribution to our movement
today. With your support, we
will build a truly viable alternative to what we are witnessing and
send a message that the American people are fed up with politicians
putting party loyalty ahead of what's best for our country.
