Did you hear the news, John?

To increase youth voter turnout, we are kicking off a voter registration blitz to register as many students on college campuses as possible around the state. This includes Penn State, where last year, in just three days, we successfully registered more than 400 students.

To further our democracy, we are working to ensure that young people are informed, engaged, and ready to vote. Will you help support this effort by donating $25 now?

We are showing up to speak directly to students, listen to what they have to say, and ensure they have the information they need to make their voices heard to vote their values at the ballot box. And with your help, we hope to expand our reach and double our numbers this back-to-school season.

In solidarity,

Team NPP

John,

In order to further our democracy, we must ensure that young people are informed, engaged, and ready to vote. That’s why, during this back-to-school season, we are centering the youth in our work and launching a massive voter registration campaign at high schools, college campuses, and universities across Pennsylvania.

To increase youth voter turnout, we are showing up to conduct voter registration and civic education, meeting students where they are – on their campuses. And we are starting this campaign off by organizing voter registration blitzes at campuses across PA, including Penn State, Temple University, and several others:

Donate $25 now to fund our youth voter registration campaign so we can register as many students on PA campuses as possible →

This work is extremely important. According to The Civics Center, the overall voter registration rate for 18-year-olds in the collar counties of Philadelphia and the city itself is 17%. Additionally, school districts in Pittsburgh showed a 15% registration rate. They found low voter registration rates among 18-year-olds in the most populous areas of the Commonwealth. With critical elections just around the corner, we have to do what we can to improve those stats.

We know how to pull this off. Last year, we successfully registered more than 400 students at Penn State University Park during a 3-day blitz and more than 50 students in one day at Bloomsburg University. With your help this year, we hope to expand our reach and double our numbers!

We are showing up to speak directly to students, listen to what they have to say, and ensure they have the information they need to make their voices heard to vote their values at the ballot box. Youth empowerment is one of the New Pennsylvania Project’s top priorities, but we need your help. Will you chip in $25 right now to help us register as young voters at campuses across the Commonwealth?
