Hi John,

Are you feeling baffled by the state of politics right now? I am. People's everyday lives are being impacted by the soaring cost of living, energy insecurity, inequality, and the breakdown of nature and the climate. Politicians are failing us all.

That’s why it’s time to demand better from political party leaders - can you quickly sign this open letter?

Yes, I'll sign: [link removed]

We have the solutions to fix all these challenges now, and they all revolve around taking stronger action to fight climate change. [1] [2]

But too many politicians are choosing big business rather than actually tackling these everyday problems. Just last week it was exposed that whilst serving as environment secretary Theresa Villiers failed to declare she had £70,000 worth of shares in Shell. [3] This shouldn’t be happening.

If we can't trust all politicians to do the right thing, we have to trust each other to demand change together. Ahead of the next election we need all political parties to step up.

Over 75,000 people have already signed the open letter. We’re building a movement powerful enough to make sure the next government, whoever it is, puts the health of people and the planet first.

Can you join thousands of other passionate people and be a fighter for lower bills, a safe climate, better housing and fairer society?

Yes, I'll be a fighter: [link removed]

Climate change is already destroying lives around the world, and without urgent action it will only get worse. [4] [5] At the same time we’re all getting poorer whilst the likes of British Gas and Shell make obscene profits off our inflated bills. [6] [7]

It’s a national scandal and now is a crucial time to make our voices heard and shape party manifestos in the run up to the next election.

8 in 10 Britons are concerned about climate change but you wouldn’t really know that by reading the mainstream media, or listening to some politicians speak. [8] We need to turn the silent majority into a loud and united one before the next election. This open letter is one way we’re going to show our strength and secure a fairer society and a liveable planet.

This is just the beginning, trust me. As always thank you so much for your support.

Hi John,

Are you sick of getting poorer, whilst companies trash the natural world and line their pockets from our inflated bills? [1] Tired of politicians choosing the interests of big business over ordinary people?

It's time to demand action from political party leaders, can you quickly sign this open letter now?

Yes, I’ll add my name: [link removed]

The wildfires in Greece, sky high energy bills, our struggling economy and the NHS on its knees - these aren’t crises, they're scandals and are a political choice. [2]

We have the solutions to fix all these issues now, and they all revolve around taking stronger action to fight climate change. [3] [4] All that’s missing is political leadership.

It’s clear that politicians won’t step up unless we make them. Elections remain one of our best chances to hold them to account. Ahead of the general election next year we have to demand better and show them there’s a huge movement of voters calling for climate action. If enough people join this movement, political parties will be forced to champion green policies to win votes.

Will you be a fighter and add your name to thousands of others who are passionate about securing a liveable planet that the next generations can flourish in?

Yes, I’ll be a fighter: [link removed]

Most of us want the same things. Affordable, good quality homes and lower bills through cheap and clean renewable energy. Safer, quieter streets and cleaner air with reliable and accessible public transport. A safe climate and a country full of nature for young people to inherit.

Together we can make these a reality. This open letter is just the start of something much bigger. An unprecedented mass mobilisation campaign to recruit one million climate voters ahead of the general election. Through this we can ensure the next government, whoever it is, prioritises the health of people and the planet, not the profits of billionaires.
