The first debate of the Republican presidential primary just finished, and it was even more unhinged than we could have imagined.

Americans who tuned in tonight saw the entire field of GOP candidates tripping over each other to pander to the most extreme elements of the MAGA Republican base. 

It’s terrifying to think of any one of these candidates ending up in the White House, but that’s exactly what will happen if we don’t continue preparing for an incredibly tough campaign. 

We’re redoubling our early organizing efforts to make sure we hold the line up and down the ballot next year, but we need 500 DFLers to step up by Friday to make it happen.
