Campers have become our coworkers!
The Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp, situated at the base of the Wind River Range near Dubois, has become a summer staple for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. Each year youth and adults from across the state (and country!) gather at camp for adventures and learning about all things conservation. Camp can be a formative experience for many ? as some current Game and Fish employees can attest. As kids, these staff members were inspired by camp and the many activities of the Game and Fish.

How to make a survival kit out of a mint tin
Survival kits don?t need to come in big, heavy packs. A mint tin filled with some small gear can be all you need for an adventure outside. The size is easy to carry ? even in a pocket! Each item can help you in an emergency. Ask an adult to help you gather these supplies and learn how to use them. Check out this guide to make your own.

Don't let it loose!
When pets grow too large or become hard to take care of, some people think letting them loose in the wild to live is the kind thing to do. That?s not the case. Most pets will not survive in the wild and those that do survive can cause problems. So what should you do if you no longer want your pet?

Spotted deer
This trail camera footage shows the growth of baby mule deer fawns throughout their first summer season in Wyoming's Snowy Range mountains. Mule deer are primarily browsers, with a majority of their diet comprised of forbs, leaves and twigs of woody shrubs. Pay attention to the top left corner of the video to see which day the video is from, and compare the fawns' growth between July and August. What differences do you see?
