As the former president is handed down indictment after indictment across the country, it is easy to focus on the president’s crimes and extremism. But, the reality is his extremism is now the ideological bar for the far-right in this country and in Michigan.

Last election, there were individuals who actively attempted to overthrow the 2020 election who ran in 2022. In 2024, there will once again be an anti-democratic contingency that will do whatever it takes to bring Donald Trump back to power again. We must beat them.
