Last week, Charles Koch’s political network endorsed Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar — their first ever endorsement of a Congressional Democrat. And just this weekend, they took their endorsement to the next level by launching a $34,500 ad buy just days before he faces a primary challenge from Jessica Cisneros.

This is more proof of what we’ve known all along: that the corporate machine wants to protect Cuellar at all costs because he serves them — not the people.

Jessica Cisneros is the opposite of that. She’s a champion of the people. It’s why she’s earned the endorsement of the Texas Working Families Party and so many incredible groups and leaders. It’s why we’re on the ground right now knocking on tens of thousands of doors to elect her. And it’s why I’m asking you:

We’re all in for Jessica Cisneros because she’s running a campaign that is of, by, and for the people. And while it’s never easy to take on the Kochs' bottomless warchest, I believe Jessica has built the multiracial, working class coalition that can do it.

She’s received endorsements from Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Ayanna Pressley, AND Julián Castro.
She has the backing of Texas WFP, Justice Democrats, National Nurses United, Sunrise Movement, and so many other great organizations.
AND she has support from over a half dozen unions — both in Texas and around the country.

The people of Texas and this country deserve better than a Democrat who votes with Trump nearly 70% of the time and who funds his campaign with money from Charles Koch, Big Oil executives, and private prison lobbyists.
