This Fall, Turn Lights Out For Migrating Birds
Believe it or not, fall migration is already underway. Right now, billions of birds are migrating through the US, the majority of them flying at night. However, as they pass over big cities on their way, they can become disoriented by bright artificial lights and skyglow, often causing them to collide with buildings or windows. Turning off bright lights will help ensure safe passage—pledge to go Lights Out to help protect birds during migration. Take the Pledge
