GGWash's August meet-up is on Thursday from 5:30 - 8:00 at Red Bear Brewing [[link removed]] .
This month, we are excited to be partnering with DC Greens, a Black-led, multiracial organization that works to build a more just and resilient food system throughout our city.
If you're in town and still making plans for tomorrow, come by Red Bear between 5:30 and 8:00 to have a good time, meet staff from GGWash and DC Greens, and chat with other GGWash supporters.
We'll chat about ways that food justice and health equity issues overlap with our goals for more affordable and accessible housing, streets that are for people and not for cars, and more public transit.
Its a great way to find out more about how to get involved with both DC Greens and GGWash, and to learn more specifically about GGWash's transportation equity work.
Plus we'll have snacks!
Red Bear Brewing Co. is located at 1209 M St NE, Washington, DC 20002 [[link removed]] , just a 5-minute walk from the NoMa metro stop (the Red Line!).
